On Wikipedia the words "be bold" means that if you see something that needs to be done on Wikipedia, go ahead and go for it and make the needed edits. This can mean anything from fixing an incorrect spelling to even making a new article. Remember, however, that these edits can be reverted and removed, so do not be upset if this occurs. You should also make sure that while you should edit boldly, you should also follow Wikipedia's guidelines on reliable sources, notability, and neutral points of view, and do not edit recklessly or disruptively.
