Is it a good idea or bad idea to have students create bibliographies in their sandboxes?

Just trying to figure out if the sandbox is the right place for that part of the assignment.

The sandbox is the best way to start. Biographies of living people must have reliable sources referenced in them when they are created or they will be swiftly deleted. So a student who starts a very small article in the main article space will not have time to grow it before it faces deletion, unlike articles on other subjects. The sandbox is the perfect place to make sure the basics are established before students are ready to showtheir work to the community and to readers.
