Can I change my username?
I used my real name when I registered my account, and now I wish I hadn't. Is there a way to change my username after I created my Wikipedia account?

It is possible to request a change of username on Wikipedia. Straightforward changes can be done using Special:GlobalRenameRequest. If that doesn't work, follow the instructions for doing so here. Neither of these will completely remove connections between your real name and your username, as there will be a record of the change request.
If you have not used your account yet, or have only used it a little bit, then a better option is probably to simply abandon your original account and create a new one.
