Wikipedia Visiting Scholars are experienced Wikipedians who connect with academic institutions to improve Wikipedia. Scholars receive free remote access to library resources, and use them to improve articles in topic areas related to the library's areas of specialization. In an ideal scenario, a Scholar's responsibility is not much different as what he or she would do anyway: improve Wikipedia articles in an area of interest. The specific goals of the Scholarship vary, but the program is intended to be flexible.
