I was wondering, can other people see my sandbox? If so, how would they find it?

Anything you write on Wikipedia can be viewed by anyone else, regardless of where you put it. This means that content in your sandbox or userspace is visible to the entire world, so be careful about what you add! You should not add personal information to Wikipedia (ie, no contact information, addresses, and the like that people could use to track you down), nor should you add content that does not belong on Wikipedia such as copyrighted content/plagiarism. You can and should, however, feel free to use this space to do things like draft your article, collect sources, or practice editing.

While your fellow students can find your sandbox page by looking through the course's Dashboard page, other editors may not immediately find your sandbox. Sometimes people will look through another person's edits and check out their sandbox out of curiosity, while in other cases your sandbox may appear on someone's radar because it contained plagiarism. Wikipedia has a program (called a "bot") that can detect copyright violations and tag them accordingly, so it may have been found that way. (This is why it's so important to avoid plagiarism!)
