From a dashboard course page

Go to the 'Students' tab of the course page and find their username, then click the "sandboxes" link beneath it.

This will pull up a list of all of the subpages of their User page, including their default "User:Username/sandbox" page if it exists.

From Wikipedia

There are several ways to find a user's sandbox:

  • Go to their user page and then click "User contributions" in the Tools section of the left sidebar. This will show all of their most recent edits; if they've been working in a sandbox recently, you'll see links to it.
  • Go to their user page, then add "/sandbox" to the end of the url and navigate there. This will take you to their default sandbox.
