  1. While logged in to, visit your course page and click the Timeline tab.
  2. Click 'Edit' at the top or bottom of the Timeline, and then:
    • Edit the content of any timeline block.
    • Reorder the timeline by dragging and dropping a block from one place to another. (As of September 2015, this works best with the Chrome browser; try that if you are having trouble with dragging and dropping.)
  3. Click Save at the top or bottom of the Timeline to finalize your changes.

You can hover over each block of text in the timeline and should discover an "edit" functionality in the top right corner. Any details in the template can be adjusted to suit your course. At the bottom of any block you can assign our training modules to help students with their work.

If you'd like to move an assignment to a different week, just click the "arrange timeline" button in the purple block to the right of the page. From there, direct the block using the "^" or down arrows next to each block until it is located in the appropriate week.

To delete a block hover over the block, click edit, and click the "DELETE BLOCK" button in red at the bottom.

To delete an entire week, click the appropriate "DELETE WEEK" link next to the week in question.

To add a custom block or assignment, just click the "ADD BLOCK" button in the appropriate week, choose if it's an assignment, in class discussion, or custom, decide if this will be a graded portion of the students' work, and input any text that will inform the students' work.

To merge two template pieces into one, just copy and paste the handouts or text information from one block to another. The formatting may not follow exactly but feel free to adjust with additional bullets, links, and more.
